With this gig I hope to give some local musicians a focal point and a chance to get up, impress everyone, and move forward with their music careers.

James says; "Ever since I started listening to Stevie Wonder, which was when I was about 11, he has been an essential part of my musical collection. He has given me so much inspiration and pushed me to be better at what I do, opening my eyes to what can be created with a pure feeling.
I met him once, very briefly, at a charity event and it was one of the best moments of my life, I thought it would be hard to top, and now here I am playing on the same stage with him, crazy ! Another moment in my life I won't forget.
Stevie Wonder is one of those rare artists who only come along once in a lifetime and who many will try to emulate and imitate but will never better. Alongside Michael Jackson, Stevie started so many musical trends. His vocal style, his melodies, his amazing chords and his all round musical brilliance cross all boundaries. Stevie is, and always will be, a legend and I'm honoured and excited to be playing with him in Hyde Park.
It's going to be an amazing day, Stevie, myself, the beautiful and amazing spirit of Corinne, who I had the pleasure to tour with at the beginning of my career and the funky dude, J.K. 6 years ago, I would only dream of days like this.....dreams do come true !"
